    • So in singapore, the typical graduate guy/girl in his/her 30s should be earning 4K on average?

I keep seeing this figure of 4K being thrown around. icon_lol.gif

    • Let me see.

      Fresh grad 2K.

After 4 years, get a promotion, maybe 2.8K per month.

After another 4 years, get another promotion, 3.5K a year.

Another 2 more years, get another promotion, 4K a year.

      Total 10 years to reach 4K. icon_lol.gif

    • Why you all don't know how to go create some jobs for yourselves?

Can gather all the twats here and form a twat circus or a sgforum "broadway" production or have a sgforum comedy night cum performance?

Can even go liberate JB and Batam like Phua Chu Kang.....even my indo friends knows Phua Chu Kang...........this is madness...angel.png

Don't talk about money, talk about what you enjoyed doing the most and go find a job that allows you to do that.

I know alot of twats here are going to be porn stars......................ZZZZZZZzzzzzz

those from public uni (NUS, NTU, SMU) with gd honours tend to be much better paid,  almost all (in fact all) of my frens start wif at least 3k, whether engineers, accountants, teachers etc,

somehow the private degree holders (eg. SIM) I know tend to follow the above trend, most starting at 2k only

but the above exclude lawyers and docs, whose starting pay are at least 4k

saw a Wong Partnership brochure (a local law firm) recruiting lawyers, their starting pay 5k, and not even including bonus yet

    • Damn.

Fresh grads get 3K starting these days?

In 5 years time, they could be earning 5K.

In 10 years time, to 8K.

      4K seems mighty low. icon_lol.gif

    •

      Very wide disparty leh.

Some people 10 years working experience ~5K a month now.

If fresh grads can be earning almost 3K a month, then when they have 5 years working experience, they will likely be making 5K a month.

I am of course assuming in the same industry with similar qualifications.
