      i wanted to ask what is POI,  stand2 mean? tis is some of e army terms i don't really know

      POI - Protection of Important Installation

      Stand 2 -  Guarding position of your camp (dunno correct or not can anyone do up with the correct explanation...)

      Stand To: When in the field, it is done during first & last light to prepare for eventual assault from the enemy. everyone on alert, everything packed, mag, grenade ready and observing the assigned arc of fire. Once stand down, nnormal routine will take place. In camp it is a status where soldiers are assigned to man key installations or route of advance due to enemy incursions or eventual enemy assault.
