      1. class 2b is a motorbike license. u cant go through private tutors except ur friend and u just have to go to a driving centre, ssdc, cdc or bbdc and enrol.

      2. it takes around 3-6 months and around 800$. this is what i think, u maybe faster or slower depending on slot.

    • You need to be 18, got money to enrol, head down to your preferred centre to enrol before you can book lessons. icon_lol.gif

nope, just to create a new account, depend actually. if u want to include your 1st practical or not. so lets say u paid around 150$ for the registration + 1st prac, subsequently u pay for your next practical.

Basically if you want to rush it, throw 800 into the account because money is automatically deducted everytime you book a lesson. You will get a refund of your remaining balance upon expiry or when you close an account(Charges maybe incurred)

    • the fastest way to get a class 2b licence in singapore is that you go for the theory lessons, take the test and do your practical so well that you excelled at controlling the bike and manuvere well during the practical test.

    • No one will recommend that you book multiple slots.  because myou might clear one lesson with one practical or 3 practicals.

Do your practical one at a time first and try to set your practicals in the morning so once you finished it, you can book one more practical, preferably in the afternoon.  Give yourself a break between practicals because your body needs time to acknowledge the muscles memory of your 1st ride of the day.

i dont think u can multi book anymore. ssdc and cdc cannot already. not so sure about bbdc. maybe can ask technoboy.

and if u no want tiao at prac 5, means pass prac 5 but no pdl, quickly go take ur ttt and pass ur rtt. pass ur rtt 1st also good. then no need wait. if u pass prac 5 but no pdl, u cant go outside road which is ur prac 6.

    • You need to book for your Basic Theory lesson & test.  Then you can book your Lesson 1 practicals.

Then later your bike theory test.  Preferably, you are also booking your final theory for your car licence.

After you finished the lessons, then you need to book for revision lessons and then the Traffic police test to finally get your 2b licence.

    • there is no garantee that you can get the licence fast if you dont have the skills and the right road riding training.

Please do go down to a Driving centre to get yourself started with a basic theory lesson & test date.

For lesson 1, please be early at the centre so the instructors can explain some things to you.

Do make sure you are proprly attired with a PSB approved open face helmet with clear visor, long sleeve t-shirts, thick jeans, gloves & covered shoes.

Do bring along a water bottle to drink lots of water.

    • just go to ssdc or somewhere and ask lah...or call their hotline. everything you need to know is there.

if you go ssdc, be aware that they will move in april 09 to woodlands. i was told there is a multi-storey training circuit there. sounds very impressive.

i recently took and passed my class 2 at ssdc.

do the bike thing and do it early. sure no regret one.

    • how long do i nit to get a bike? like if i got the money and how long do i nit to wait for 1st hand?

Anyone have any nice bike shop or somewhere cheap to intro?

Honda nsr sp 150 or Kawasaki KRR 150  is better? in looks

Do they have installment plans like car? like how long is the longest time i can take to pay in installment for a bike?

      thanks in advance

    • 1. depending on your skills, soonest is within 3 months.

      2. If got money, get the licence, go bike shop, see bike, buy bike, insurance & road tax, within 3 days can get a bike. (if bike shop is fast, next day can collect bike.)

      3. Lots of bike shops, nice is never a word for sellers.  Cheap to intro? You are kidding me right? Cheap most likely mean easy to steal parts, ready to break down at every junction.

      4. Sp or KRR, both tiny 2 stroke bike only popular with bikers wanneabes, neither looks good to me, especially if the rider is a big/tall fellas,  make the biker look like a bicycle.  Plus, they are fairing bikes, makes the insurance more expensive. Even worse when the biker is young.

      5. Yes, they have installment plans like car but take note that insurances costs are different depending on the riders age.  Please also take note that only 2 riders are registered to the biker and you should never ever let others to ride/take care of you bike unless they are registered in your insurance.

6.Longest time to pay the installment is 2 - 7 years, depending on the bike shop's discretion.  The longer the installment period,  the higher the interest for the bike.  INewbie Youngsters bikers they mostly allow a maximum of 3 years to pay off a bike.
