audi also has a similar scheme called the s-line... side skirts.. wider rims... front lips... but underneath its still FF and same engine...and ah bengs also have their own "racing" edition.. front bonnet air scoop.. huge spoilers... side skirts.... with 1.6 litre engine and rear drums in the impreza....

And so is Merc with AMG kits, rims, etc etc.. But Audi or Merc never advertise them as 'racing' or 'sport' 'Victory-spec' 'Spec Racing' 'Type Racing', etc and everyone knows that having S-line or AMG kits won't neccesarily make your car any faster, only look better, and those kits do not come cheap as well.
But Altis and Vios tag on the term 'Racing', which implies performance upgrades, which is in actual fact a myth as all they did was to tack on a bodykit and sports pedals, and I believe the bodykit will actually add weight, making the car slower.
As for Subaru TS-es.. well everyone has their own opinions, but some, i stress some, of these TS do have reasonable upgrades such as carbonfibre bonnets / boot, aftermarket headers / extractors / exhaust, coilovers, etc, which will make the car faster. By how fast is debatable, but you cannot deny the fact that all these mods do make the car slightly faster as compared to stock.

The car's wheels are so small and wrongly proportion that even a blind person knows this has got as much to do with racing as a chest of cheap flatpack drawers from Ikea does. A set of bodykit makes it racing NOT.
Only idiots and poseurs who have no idea what motorsports really is would buy this car. I know that carbage has been in existance for years but rare is it when it comes as carbage new from the dealer LOL

u can argue tt the term 'racing' implies performance upgrades... but different pple reads it differently...
however when i first saw it... it din cross my mind at all tt the car's performance will be any better... i knew instantly tt its juz an aesthetic upgrade...

as much as its ugly... it doesnt deserve the slamming that u dealt out...by ur statements here... u are saying tt pple who buy vios and TSes and lancers then go put side skirts and front lips huge spoilers are idiots??
look... pple are known to buy vioses and altis and then do up... now BM is doing up the car for them prior to purchase... is an alternative to the usual practice...
and btw... the picture in ur poster is not an altis... is a vios... so.. who's the idiot now...

I said Epic Fail = when a crap car like the Altis is fitted with cheap looking crap and you buy it. The picture is another example of when a Vios is fitted with cheap looking crap and you buy it. This thread, notice, is for both the Altis and Vios. So I guess the idiot is you for failing to realise 1) that the thread is for both models 2) The caption of demotivational posters don't always refer to the pictures specifically.
