anybody tried?.....
24 is rubbish.. Personally I've driven the last gen 1.4 jazz auto.. Real life fc more like 15-16? 24km/l is even higher than the civic hybrid 1.3 or prius already.. Though not very sure for the latest gen 1.3 / 1.5. As for CNG, not really recommended.. Yes it is true that compared to other compact hatches, the boot space might be slight bigger, but if you mount the CNG tank means you really no more usable boot space..

If driving pattern 95% highway @ non peak hours, then i guess over 20 might be achievable.. But nowadays getting harder also lah. No matter peak/non peak, the highways are relatively more crowded now as compared to the past. Fit/Jazz will be one of the better FC cars around, pity about the price though.. but i guess one cannot have the best of both worlds.

try the daihatsu sirion 1.3L. it may be better than fit in FC.

u can achieve a desirable FC if your driving methods are steady and no hard acceleration.
i've done on the mazda 3 and achieved good FC from time-to-time like 12+km/l. but ultimately, at the end of the... well, full tank, you tell yourself ah what the heck, i need to get places fast anyway. just ram the accelerator lah.

Hi to all.
I am driving 1 of the 09 Fit 1.3 Auto.
Haha 24km Per / L
Bro i tell you this is impossible in singapore, weather play a big way, Our traffic in singapore jam every day. So when u take this 2 pts in the FC will go down.
If u r a light footer and willing to drive at low pick up not more than 1,500rpm and below and no wack also not any speed of more than 90KM/H. Plus no Aircon you wshould be able to hit 17-19km.
For me as i am a more of heavy foot once awhile i drag all the way to 5,500rpm all do some pick up or at NS WAY clearing meter.
My FC is looking at 14 to 16km with air con on.
Hope this help you my friend.

24km/l is possible, but in countries with very long stretches of road or highways, and with a much cooler, less humid atmosphere probably.
Just like the manufacturer's claim of the 0-100kph timing, and engine output numbers.
They are for certain 'test' conditions only (temp/humidity/tyre/fuel/road surface/wind/etc), and if u try to measure it will not be near those claimed.
CNG.. don't bother unless u stay near the station. The price difference is not alot, and it would take very long to break even or just to justify the amount spent installing it in the first place.

Really? I want to own one! The Honda Jazz version, but the price is the biggest drawback.

If install CNG, the Jazz will be bootless to an extent. Furthermore, the gap between the prices of petrol and CNG is narrowing. Coupled with the fact that the Jazz is a fuel efficient car, CNG is out for me.
