That will depend on your ice setup.
Take note that installing a secondary player may affect your system.
You will definately have to plug into your existing amplifier then to your speakers.
In order to do so, will need to use Y-connectors for the RCAs. When using multiple connectors, it may cost distortion.
Unless you want to bypass your amps and go direct to the speakers like stock setup.
You will not be getting the type of sound effect which you want when playing Dvds.
There are some China brands costing around 450 to 600 includes installation. Look around. Are you looking for in-dash or 2din? or can buy second hand from those PI owners as majority fitted with China brand player and will upgrade soon.
If you want to use the power of the amps, I would rather you upgrade your player to a better quality and sell away you old CD player.
May consider Pioneer 6050 or alpine 201. If budget not an issue..go for F1....
Think of what type of setup and sound do you want first. SQ, Streetbass or SPL.
You will need to provide more details about your current setup. Or alternatively, do visit sgsoundsystem or sgcaraudio and check with the gurus over there.
