    • Bedok to Redhill on Sunday morning 8am+. Take train, crowd from Pasir Ris onwards + CGA so 100% no seat. If I take 32, confirm 100% have seat, although 30 mins more travelling time, more peaceful ride also. Sightseeing somemore. So I prefer taking buses.

      So which do you prefer?

    • of course buses..

but sometimes when u need to get somewhere directly eg sengkang to harbourfront, id rather a train, compared to taking 80, so far and it takes bloody ages

    • For some reasons for short distance, LRT over bus, but for long distance, bus over MRT.

    • Bus. Only because my school has no train line and my house has no train line. If I take a train I need to make 2 transfers (3 rides). If I take a bus theres no direct bus unless someone (forgot who)'s idea for 28 extention comes out. But still its only 1 transfer (2 rides) and thus saves money. Also I can buy the BCP without caring about trains. I never take trains!

    • nowadays in a rush take train oso no good

if off-peak hour, train take so long to come
if peak hour, crowded like phark u can't get on the train, have to wait for the later trains
or crowded like phark and u are stuck and unable to alight at ur stop

end up same amount of time as take bus
or maybe take bus is faster even

    • bus got seat one and can seat peacefully.

with train seating configuration and me bring a very fit, healthy young man.. it's like a sin for me to sit in the train and with all the watchful eyes.......

      bus for me thanks.

    • as seen from the example of svc 128 vs north south line, many commuters still value their time over comfort. when i took 128 today from dhoby ghaut to bishan, it took me about twice the amount of time that mrt would take, or more than that. however, finding seats was not a problem, but even so, ridership was very low, with about 10 people on board when the bus was at novena.

    • 128 is a 6month trial service. Whether it will stay will depend on the ridership. And Ferret you siao ah. Like from Bishan street 22 take cab to J8 already 3dollar. Might as well take buses like 52 or 13.

    • If not in a rush then bus, if in a rush or over long distance then MRT (If difference in travel time is more than 30 mins between bus/MRT)
