    • not really conclusive that it's memory stick problem. i do have fake ones which run as well as original ones, maybe with only occasional hiccups

    • if air particles can be seen in such a way, our atmosphere won't be as transparent as you know it

    • find the concentration of the NaOH solution in mol dm-3. find the no. of moles of NaOH needed to neutralise the H2SO4, then find the volume of NaOH solution needed

    • the method posted was to upgrade to m33 fw, not official firmware. find someone nice enough to let you create a pandora set to bring your psp back up

    • i did a simple research (2-3k words) on this last year for my sec 4 research work. singapore's sunlight is not A LOT like what most people think, due to frequent cloudy/rainy days. in fact if i remember correctly singapore gets less sunshine (as in light intensity/energy) in a year compared to perth.

then there is also the rooftop area on hdb blocks. it isn't very significant, i used google maps to estimate the area lol. water tanks take up quite a large area already on the smaller blocks. plus the fact that you cannot fully cover area available (for maintenance), you would be lucky to cover 50% of rooftop area. moreover, this amount of solar panels would only power a few average size flats for each block. compared to the rest of the block + energy consumed outside residential areas, it might be significant in absolute numbers, but quite insignificant relatively.

by numbers i found around the net, solar panels also take about 15 years average to pay off. you might be earning so to speak after the 15 year period, but it can be view as quite a long term investment.

i emphasise again that my research was more of clobbing numbers available in a logical way, there was minimal primary research. large assumptions were made, but the main gist i got from it was that solar panels on hdb blocks is not as great an idea as most people would think it is. there is a reason why solar power plants cover large amounts of land, land that would be hard to find in singapore

    • if im not wrong they set the cpu spd to the lowest to make the psp lag, thus conning the less knowledgable to "add more ram"

    • er, about the umd detection whenever your psp starts, i take it that your psp automatically runs the umd whenever it starts? there is such a setting to allow/disallow it from happening

1st one is likely a video of gta IV gameplay, or remote play with a ps3

2nd one wth? that's not even a source.

you need to be much much more critical of your sources before coming here to troll

until you provide a link to a reputable source, it's still from yourself. i can say that sony will release psp2 in august, but who the heck will believe me?

    • my dad has been allowing me to drink reasonable amounts since i was about p6, and yes it does take away the forbidden fruit syndrome. went on a trip to japan last year with my school, my friend was amazed by vending machines selling asahi beer cans, and immediately wanted to get one. i didn't even raise my eyebrows when i saw the beer. probably won't be tempted to drink loads too when i reach legal age (next year) to purchase alcohol

    • when i read your description of yourself, it was also like reading about myself, take away the piano part and increase the 2.4 timing to 10+min. i suppose you are in j2? i'm in j1. you look for happiness in your skills, which i understand. it can be very rewarding to just go on wiki or any other website to read about stuff and gain more knowledge. the piano is also a good way (i quit piano last year, it just didn't interest me enough).

however, all these can only bring you to a certain level of happiness. it is not through these skills where i get my happiness, it is from my friends and other activities. you have not mentioned friends, maybe you have overlooked them? i was also a facilitator for a life science workshop for sec 3 students for 2 days. it ended yesterday, and it was very rewarding for me, being able to guide them and such.

perhaps you have been looking in the wrong areas for your happiness. you mentioned that you play the piano for 4h a day. not to put it down, but it is a very long time to spend alone. perhaps staying around in sch more, hanging around with people might bring more joy?

i think i can understand your character, i used to want to go all out to gain knowledge and skills, but obviously, it wasn't giving me contentment. look in other areas

This condition may occur in normal subjects or be associated with narcolepsy, cataplexy, and hypnagogic hallucinations.

I myself have experienced such situations before. Had one where it seemed like something was trying to get through my bedroom door in the middle of the night, banging and shaking the door, with me paralysed.

Believe me, it's just hallucinations. I have been able to recognise such situations, and can control them, even snap out of it when I feel myself slipping into sleep paralysis. Just relax your body and mind, don't try to force yourself to wake, the hallucinations will only get worse. Once you relax, the hallcinations should get weaker, and you can gain some control on your senses. A while more and you will be awake.

    • the psp slim can be said to be more fragile, notably lacking a metal chassis holding the motherboard and other components together present in the original psp, and a thinner shell

    • who's trying to pull a scam on you? you can't add ram to a psp, at least currently. cfw is not laggier than ofw, you can even up the speed of the cpu
